Social Worker - ACC Sensitive Claims Full-time Job

Key points:

- Permanent, Full-time position at Epsom & Papatoetoe location - Start in January 2025 - Providing essential therapeutic support under ACC Sensitive Claims Service contract - Working at Youthline, a youth-centred community organisation - Offering supportive and caring culture with flexible working hours

Job requirements:

- Active ACC registration and NZ Social Work registration - Recognised tertiary qualification in social work or related field - Experience in mental health and sexual trauma - Ability to form and maintain strong client relationships - Strong time management and administrative skills - Regular engagement in clinical supervision and commitment to professional development - Understanding of youth development and strengths-based practice - Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to youth services

Job responsibilities:

- Identifying and ensuring clients have access to needed support - Connecting clients with relevant resources for continuity of care - Liaising with collaborative partners to create a comprehensive support network

Qualifications:

- Recognised tertiary qualification in social work or related field

Skills:

- Experience in mental health and sexual trauma - Strong time management and administrative skills - Ability to form and maintain strong client relationships
