About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? If so, this fixed-term opportunity as a Speech Language Therapist based in our Botany office might be the perfect fit for you. In this role, you will join our region's Learning Support team where you will work closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and specialists to support children with speech, language, and communication difficulties.

You will be part of a trans-disciplinary team, addressing the complex needs of children and young people. The salary range for this position is $69,966 - $118,450 per annum plus a 3% KiwiSaver contribution, with the successful candidate being appointed based on their individual skills and experience.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification recognized by the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists Association. Specialist knowledge in speech-language, child development, and learning practices is essential. You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse groups, and a commitment to upholding Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
