The Storeperson at Phoenix Contact's Penrose, Auckland warehouse plays a crucial role in the receiving, handling, and dispatching of goods. Responsibilities include unloading, unpacking, storing stock, picking orders accurately, and ensuring product quality within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and store stock following safe work procedures
• Check and inspect goods on arrival and maintain appropriate documentation
• Load and unload vehicles safely using lifting aids
• Verify delivery documentation for accuracy
• Complete orders by selecting, assembling, and packing goods
• Participate in stock takes and counts

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Previous warehouse experience in picking and packing
• Proficiency in warehouse software, SAP experience is an advantage
• Customer service mindset and results-oriented approach
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and computer literacy
• Numerical skills for accurate stock handling
• Effective verbal communication skills
