A specialist civil construction company in Auckland is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join their team. The company works on a variety of infrastructure projects in Auckland and the wider North Island, offering genuine career progression opportunities. The role comes with a competitive hourly rate of $40 - $45ph plus UTE and benefits based on experience.

About the Role

The Senior Supervisor role involves managing multiple sites simultaneously, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will work closely with onsite Foremen/Supervisors, oversee site operations, and contribute to the mentoring and development of onsite staff. Some travel across Auckland and the North Island may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work with onsite Foreman/Supervisors to ensure adherence to methodologies
• Assist with site set out, health and safety protocols, and work delivery
• Ensure effective and efficient site operations
• Mentor and develop onsite staff
• Manage multiple civil projects

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of on-site civil construction experience
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Experience working with Project Managers and Engineering teams
• Commitment to health and safety standards
• Willingness to travel as needed
