They are currently seeking a Support Worker to join their Health and Wellbeing team in Manukau, Auckland on a full-time, fixed-term basis until December 2024.

Role Responsibilities

The role involves supporting individuals with mental health challenges by helping them develop goals and skills to manage their well-being. This includes providing personalized support, facilitating group events, and managing one-on-one caseloads.

Requirements

• NZ full driver's license
• First aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or equivalent
• Experience as a support worker
• Passion for working with Te Ao Maori
• Strong knowledge of Auckland Health and Social Services sectors
• Effective communication and rapport-building skills
• Ability to work autonomously
