The Pae Ora legislation sets the stage for reshaping commissioning processes to prioritize the needs of communities and whānau. As a System Design Manager, you will play a vital role in leading the redesign of mental health and addiction services for the younger population in Aotearoa NZ.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and leaders in the child and youth mental health sector to drive system redesign efforts - Evaluate and reimagine service funding and delivery to meet Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations and ensure equitable access and outcomes - Contribute to strategic mapping, stakeholder engagement, and development of service specifications - Lead the strategic design network for infant, child, and youth mental health services - Create a roadmap and implementation plan for system redesign in partnership with stakeholders - Monitor and support service providers and objectives within the youth mental health team
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in system and service design, incorporating lived experiences and community aspirations - In-depth knowledge of infant, child, and youth mental health and wellbeing - Strong understanding of commissioning frameworks and system thinking - Proven ability to build relationships and partnerships across diverse groups - Experience in developing strategies and initiatives within a large organization
