Job Description

We are a new tattoo studio in Auckland CBD, situated on a bustling street with a trendy atmosphere and a welcoming team. We are looking for an experienced and creative tattoo artist who can bring their unique style to our studio. Your responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with clients to understand their tattoo preferences
• Creating custom tattoo designs based on client specifications
• Providing guidance on design options, placement, and size
• Performing tattoo procedures with precision and attention to detail
• Offering aftercare instructions to clients
• Staying updated on industry trends, techniques, and safety protocols
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by sterilizing equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional tattoo artist
• Proven technical skill in tattooing across all styles
• Strong artistic talent with the ability to create original designs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of sanitation practices for a safe working environment
• Must have the right to work in New Zealand

Hours and Pay

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, ranging from 30-40 hours per week. Our studio is open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm, accommodating both walk-ins and appointments. Your compensation will be based on a revenue-sharing model, with the percentage determined by your skills and contributions.
