Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is offering a Fixed Term/Secondment opportunity until June 2027 in Mangere, Counties Manukau with a competitive salary of $131,727 plus 5 weeks' annual leave (pro rata). As a Team Leader Housing Support, you will play a crucial role in providing operational leadership to achieve better outcomes for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage team culture and dynamics to develop a high-performing team
  • Provide leadership, support, coaching, and guidance to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Monitor the health and safety of the team and provide necessary support
  • Produce operational reporting to track team performance and service management
  • Collaborate with the Advisor Placement to assign customers to suitable Housing Support Managers
  • Contribute to role enhancements and quality outcomes for customers

Qualifications and Skills

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Proven experience leading and motivating a service delivery team
  • Experience in a demanding customer service environment
  • Cultural awareness and experience working with diverse communities
