Overview

Leprosy Mission New Zealand is seeking a dedicated Programme Officer to contribute to the implementation of an exciting overseas development programme, primarily focused on the Asia Pacific Region. This role offers the opportunity to support various programmes, engage with stakeholders globally, and make a meaningful impact on those affected by leprosy, disability, and poverty.

Responsibilities

As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing programme tasks, reporting to NZ Aid programme, developing funding proposals, and collaborating with colleagues across the Leprosy Mission Global Fellowship. Your responsibilities will include understanding development issues, supporting projects, and crafting proposals for institutional funders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in development, climate mitigation, and public health issues. Demonstrated experience in project support and proposal writing is essential for this role. Additionally, candidates with a passion for the mission of The Leprosy Mission NZ and a commitment to professional ethics are encouraged to apply.
