Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of a team providing technical support for the Department of Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering, split between the City Campus and the Newmarket Campus. Key responsibilities include supporting research and teaching activities, maintaining laboratories and teaching facilities, and contributing technical expertise to various projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold a Trade qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, and relevant work experience in labs or mechanical environments. Essential experience includes 4-5 years in electronics and instrumentation, proficiency in sensor technology, PCB design, firmware programming, and data acquisition instruments. Preferred experience includes knowledge of MATLAB, LabVIEW, C/C++, C#, Python, and embedded design.
