Key points

• Specialist Youth Worker position
• Permanent Part-Time position (0.4FTE)
• Work on Saturdays only from 7am to 11pm
• Support at-risk rangatahi with complex behaviors
• Utilize the Teaching Family Model

Job requirements

• Experience working with at-risk youth
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Full NZ drivers licence
• Completion of satisfactory background checks
• NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (preferred)

Qualifications

• NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 4) or other relevant tertiary qualification (preferred)

Skills

• Confident and empathetic individual
• Ability to support youth with complex and challenging behaviors
• Experience in residential services or youth programs
• Leadership skills in relevant settings
