Job requirements:
- Bachelors/Master's degree in counselling, social work, psychology, or psychotherapy - Professional registration under the HPCA Act or Social Work registration - Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Flexible in hours of work and travel across Auckland region - Full and clean New Zealand driver's licence - Willingness to undergo Ministry of Social Development (MSD) check and police vetting
Job responsibilities:
- Provide intensive clinical treatment services to children, young people, and their families - Deliver the evidence-based model (Functional Family Therapy) for families of young people aged 0 - 18 years - Travel across the Auckland region is an absolute requirement - Work with whānau of rangatahi and young adults between the ages of 10 to 24 years - Support whānau where there are risk factors related to parental figures
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelors/Master's degree in relevant field - Professional registration under HPCA Act or Social Work registration - Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Skills:
- Ability to build strong relationships with peers and stakeholders - High level of resilience - Understanding of the impacts of colonisation - Ability to work with tangata whenua in a way that upholds organisational commitments to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
