## Position Overview

Are you looking to make a positive impact in the Auckland Transitional Housing sector? The Auckland Transitional Housing Providers Network (ATHPN) is seeking a dedicated Auckland Transitional Housing Network Coordinator to join their team. As the coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving seamless communication, organization, and coordination within ATHPN. This part-time role on a 12-month fixed-term contract requires exceptional communication skills, organizational prowess, and a commitment to fostering relationships both internally and externally.

## Key Responsibilities

### Network Coordination - Coordinate ATHPN activities to align with the network's charter, goals, and objectives. - Develop and implement strategies to enhance network effectiveness and efficiency. - Plan, schedule, and facilitate network meetings, workshops, and training sessions. - Maintain comprehensive records of meetings, decisions, and action items.

### Communication - Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications within the network. - Facilitate regular communication channels to keep members, partners, and stakeholders informed. - Prioritize transparency, clarity, and efficiency in all communication efforts.

### Relationship Management - Cultivate and nurture relationships with partners, networks, and providers to enhance collaboration. - Manage relationships with external stakeholders and oversee intern relationships. - Identify opportunities for collaboration and resource-sharing.

### Database Maintenance - Maintain a comprehensive database of housing providers, partners, and stakeholders. - Ensure regular updates and accuracy of information.

### Resource Management - Manage resources, including funding and grants, to support network activities. - Monitor budget allocations and expenditures. - Prepare reports on program outcomes and performance indicators.

### Other Duties - Fulfill additional duties as needed in alignment with the position.

## Required Qualifications & Experience

- Qualification in a relevant field preferred. - Proven experience in coordination and relationship management, preferably in nonprofit or community-based organizations. - Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. - Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in database management. - Knowledge of transitional housing issues and policies desirable. - Commitment to ATHPN's mission and values.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Strong judgment, sensitivity, and discretion in interactions. - Respectful, trustworthy, and conscientious. - Passionate about promoting housing wellbeing. - Clean full driving license and police vetting required. - Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
