Intermediate Lawyer Position at Waitematā Community Law Centre

The Waitematā Community Law Centre, located in Henderson and part of the national Community Law Centre network, is offering a dynamic opportunity for an intermediate lawyer.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, inspire, and lead the legal team
• Provide practical legal advice
• Work closely with the General Manager and Senior Lawyer to support strategic direction
• Ensure services recognize and reflect Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Ensure legal compliance
• Build strong relationships with the community
• Committed to providing access to justice

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years PQE
• Admitted to the roll of Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of NZ with a current practicing certificate
• Experience in family, employment, consumer law, residential tenancy, and criminal law would be ideal
