Job Description

Epworth Freemasons is currently seeking Registered Midwives to join their Birth Suite and Post Natal ward on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. The Maternity Services department at Epworth Freemasons boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including 9 birth suites, a special care nursery, and a postnatal unit, catering to approximately 3,000 births annually.

As a Registered Midwife in the Maternity Services department, your responsibilities will include delivering exceptional patient care, providing high-quality nursing/midwifery services, and promoting empathy and support for patients and their families throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postnatal experience.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: - Current unrestricted midwifery registration with AHPR - Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Post Natal ward - Contemporary knowledge of best practices in maternity and newborn nursing care

The annual salary range for full-time positions is AUD $66,711 - $93,669 plus superannuation and entitlements, with prorated rates for part-time roles.
