Registered Nurse - Dental

We are excited to present a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is looking to explore a high level Surgical environment. Our client is a leader in Dental Surgery and pride themselves on delivering clinical excellence to their patients. With two locations in Auckland (Northcote & Newmarket) this opportunity will suit a Registered Nurse who can travel between both locations with ease.

Who We Are Looking For

This opportunity would ideally suit a 2 - 3 years experienced Nurse who is engaged and interested to explore Surgical environments. This role will provide insights, training, support and guidance across both Theatre Nursing as well as Postanesthetic Care, an opportunity rarely seen within New Zealand. If you have been invested to find an opportunity that can provide ongoing development, an immersion into a Private Surgical facility. Then we believe this could be perfect for you.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist and contribute to Dental Surgeries
  • Provide Post operative and Anesthetic Care
  • Liaise directly with Surgeon as well as other members of the team
  • Provide education and detailed support for patients both pre and post operative

The Ideal Candidate

Registered nurse with a current practising certificate, A minimum of 2 - 3 years Nursing experience (In New Zealand), Excellent verbal communication skills, coupled with a caring nature and the ability to connect and interact within a multicultural environment. A team player, someone who can build professional relationships, Intermediate level computer and online information recording skills.
