Lifeline Medical Centre Otahuhu is a GP owned practice located in Otahuhu, Auckland, dedicated to providing top-notch health care services to the local community. With a team of 7 GPs, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Nurse Prescriber, 1 HCA, 3 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager, we pride ourselves on offering a personal style of family medicine where continuity of care is highly valued.

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team for up to 40 hours per week, with additional hours on a Saturday fortnightly rotation. The practice hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

Requirements and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for practice nursing, previous experience in GP/Urgent Care, and hold a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate and Vaccination Certificate. Responsibilities will include performing clinical duties such as childhood immunizations, wound care management, chronic disease management, patient record maintenance, phone triage, and procedures like prepping for minor surgical procedures, infection control, vaccinations, ECGs, recalls and screening, and more. Full training on IT systems will be provided.
