Rawhiti Estate, the newest BeGroup village in Remuera, offers luxury independent living apartments and premium care suites, including rest home, secure memory loss, and hospital care. Established in October 2018, Rawhiti Estate provides a purpose-built environment for the elderly to thrive.

Role Overview

We are currently hiring for the position of Village Care Support at Rawhiti Estate. This part-time role requires 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. As a Village Care Support, you will be responsible for providing personal care to residents, assisting with outings, and supporting administrative tasks under the guidance of the Wellness and Lifestyle Manager and Clinical Manager.

What You Will Do

• Provide personal care to residents at a rest home level
• Ensure residents' outings and shopping trips are enjoyable
• Support the team with office and administration tasks
• Participate in training opportunities provided through the online learning platform

Requirements

To be part of the Rawhiti Team, you should have:

• A current, clean Full NZ Driver’s License
• One year of experience in a New Zealand aged care facility
• Willingness to obtain NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificates Level 2 - 4
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• A friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor
• Passion for assisting elderly residents with outings
