Are you passionate about contributing to a more equitable, accessible, and people-centered health system in Aotearoa? Te Whatu Ora is seeking an Advisor to join their team in the Northern Region. This role involves supporting the Crown in its relationships with Māori under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and working towards improving services and outcomes for Māori.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all Board, Committee, and Ministerial briefings
  • Handle Official Information Act requests (OIAs) and Parliamentary Questions (PQs)
  • Collaborate with national and regional teams to ensure consistent systems and practices

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong research and information-gathering skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Experience in presenting information to various audiences
  • Proven track record of working effectively in teams
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
