Come and be part of the Bizzy Bodz team in Auckland! We are currently looking for an Assistant Team Leader to join us in delivering an exceptional out-of-school care experience for children in the Eastern Bays area. This rewarding role offers a variety of responsibilities that will keep you engaged, challenged, and having fun every day.
Responsibilities
- Planning, resourcing, and implementing activities
- Programme structure, set up/closing down
- Team management and training
- Programme compliance and administration
- Afternoon tea menu planning, purchasing, and preparation
- Relationship management with families and the school community
- Positive behavior management
- First aid
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is empathetic, caring, positive, friendly, organized, and reliable. You should have great relationship-building and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Experience working with children in after-school care, holiday programs, nannying, education, or sports coaching is preferred.
Availability
The hours for this role are 15-22 hours per week, with flexibility to negotiate. Ideally, you would be available for after-school care from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Before-care and school holiday hours are flexible to suit but not essential.
