Opportunity to Join a Leading CA Firm in Central Auckland

An established CA firm in Central Auckland is offering an exciting opportunity for a senior member to join their BAS team. The firm is known for its family-focused work culture and is experiencing rapid growth in the Auckland region in 2024.

Responsibilities

As a senior member of the BAS team, you will work closely with Partners and Directors on a variety of clients from different industries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax planning, and other compliance duties
  • Reviewing the work of junior staff members
  • Managing and monitoring the commercial aspects of engagements
  • Managing client relationships and communications

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • 3-6+ years of experience in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level
  • Solid working experience with Xero packages and industry tools
  • Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
  • Experience working with outsourced providers
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Leadership and team management skills
