Join Our Team as a Butchery Assistant

Silverdale Pak'nSave is looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic Butchery department as assistants. If you have a passion for meat and a willingness to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Role Responsibilities

• Wrapping and packing meat products
• Ensuring proper display of meat products
• Storing products correctly
• Adhering to food safety and health guidelines
• Stocking and rotating market products
• Receiving and inspecting meat deliveries

Requirements

• Interest and passion for meat and butchery
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Previous butchery experience preferred

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift up to 30kg, as well as constant movement including walking, bending, and squatting. You should also be comfortable working in a cold environment.
