About Asian Family Services (AFS)

Asian Family Services (AFS) has been dedicated to supporting Asian communities in New Zealand since 1998. As a charitable trust, we are the sole service provider in New Zealand for individuals of Asian backgrounds affected by mental health issues and gambling harm. Our services cover a wide range, including the Asian Helpline, clinical interventions, public health initiatives, Asian Wellbeing Services, COVID-19 related counseling, research projects, and more.

About the Role

If you have completed a qualification from a New Zealand recognized tertiary institution in fields like social work, mental health, counseling, or addiction, and hold membership to governing bodies such as the NZ Psychological Society or NZ Council of Nursing, you might be the perfect fit for this position. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of practice experience, with clinical leadership experience in therapeutic services and a good understanding of various care models.
