The Health and Disability Commissioner (HDC) in Auckland CBD, conveniently located near the Britomart transport hub, is offering a full-time, permanent position for a Complaints Assessor.

About the Role

As a member of our Assessment Team, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving complaints. Your responsibilities will include analyzing complaints, drafting correspondence, reviewing clinical information, and engaging with consumers and service providers. You will need to have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine interest in the health and disability sector.

What You'll Need

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent writing skills for effective communication
  • Strong phone etiquette and empathy
  • Resilience in handling challenging situations
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, with a background in law, health, or disability being advantageous
  • At least two years of relevant work experience
