About the Role

As the Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the Legal Support and Client Support teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless delivery of services to both internal and external stakeholders. Key aspects of this role include:

  • Leadership: Provide leadership to the team, fostering professional development, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing strategic capabilities.
  • Service Quality: Ensure effective and high-quality support services to allow legal teams to focus on delivering top-notch legal services to clients.
  • Support Function Management: Oversee support functions to ensure they align with policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance team processes and procedures for optimal efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Meet regularly with unit and department heads to address issues and ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of leadership experience in a professional services or timesheeting environment.
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for effective team management.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing teams and fostering development.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for autonomous and collaborative work.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., legal, business, accounting).
