Role and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the Broker role in Central Auckland should have a strong background in insurance fundamentals, capable of managing internal staff, external partners, and clients effectively. Key responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, contributing to business strategies, developing growth plans, and delivering exceptional customer service. With a focus on client retention and business growth, the role requires strong presentation and negotiation skills, proficiency in Excel, and a dedication to providing outstanding client experiences.
Skills and Experience
Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in Corporate Insurance, with proven abilities in managing complex client accounts, generating opportunities, and closing deals. Commercial acumen, certification in Financial Services, and experience in writing tender submissions are essential. The role also involves coaching support staff, maintaining client relationships, and promoting products to drive business confidence and growth.
