About TREC
TREC is an alliance formed to plan, organize, and deliver recovery and rebuild work on highway and rail networks in Te Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) and Te Matau a Māui (Hawke’s Bay). Alliance members include Waka Kotahi, KiwiRail, Downer, Fulton Hogan, and Higgins.
Job Description
As a Cost Control Manager, your responsibilities will include leading the Monthly Cost Review process, reporting on program costs, and escalating cost overruns as needed. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a Cost Control role, preferably on infrastructure projects exceeding $250 million. A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with the full CCS Candy suite
- Strong commercial, contractual, and financial acumen
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems like Jobpac, JDE, or similar
- Ability to problem solve, work well in a team, and independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
