About the Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take the lead on a $50 million+ apartment or house build project in Auckland. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for large-scale projects. You will also lead the tendering process, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective project delivery. Additionally, you will administer contracts, handle variations, and prepare accurate cost reports and forecasts to track project performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• RICS/NZIQS or equivalent professional certification preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on managing large-scale apartment or commercial new builds in Auckland or similar markets
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and strong knowledge of construction contracts
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and influence others
