Job Responsibilities

• Ensure timely submission of all Inward Cargo Reports to New Zealand Customs Services
• Identify and complete Formal Import Declarations for relevant shipments
• Liaise with operational staff and international team to ensure proper handling of shipments
• Assist with daily operations and exception reporting
• Provide support and guidance on customs duties and tariffs
• Handle incoming customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Coordinate clearance, billing, and payment of fees related to customs inspections
• Monitor daily KPI achievements and targets

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for designing and developing metrics
• Experience with Trade Single Window
• Knowledge of Cargowise and Oracle is advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in international shipments and global systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in email, internet, and Microsoft Office applications
