Transport Rebuild East Coast (TREC) is seeking a talented Data & Reporting Analyst to contribute to the recovery and rebuild work on highway and rail networks in Te Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) and Te Matau a Māui (Hawke’s Bay).

### About TREC TREC is an alliance comprising Waka Kotahi, KiwiRail, Downer, Fulton Hogan, and Higgins, collaborating with local businesses and contractors to drive essential infrastructure projects in New Zealand.

### Responsibilities As a Data & Reporting Analyst at TREC, you will be instrumental in handling data ingestion, structuring, analysis, and processing using cutting-edge tools. Your role will involve generating insights, creating visualizations, developing dashboard reports, and offering recommendations to enhance decision-making processes and project outcomes.

### Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess: - A Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. - Proven experience as a data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or similar role within the construction industry or a related domain. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. - Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, data quality, and data governance principles and practices. - Familiarity with data platform technologies like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. - Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, and cloud-based data services like Databricks and Data Factory is a plus. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
