Role Overview

Axenic is seeking an experienced PCI practitioner/QSA to collaborate with the Technical Director and Managing Director in further developing and delivering the PCI practice. The role involves engaging with a range of public and private sector clients, focusing primarily on PCI DSS compliance. Additionally, there is potential to expand into governance, risk, and compliance domains, including combined PCIDSS and ISO 27001:2022 implementations.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of PCI DSS and relevant standards
  • Conducting gap assessments and assisting clients with remediation
  • Performing PCI DSS audits as per PCI Council requirements
  • Assessing security risk and compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
  • Working with clients to evaluate the impact of strategic decisions on risk and compliance

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Senior-level experience in PCI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create detailed assessment reports meeting PCI council standards
  • Current or previous PCI QSA certification is advantageous, or equivalent qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 certifications
