Job Role

This permanent position is seeking a Senior Microsoft Data Engineer/Consultant who will serve as a Trusted Advisor to clients. The role involves supporting the full Microsoft SQL Suite, including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS, as well as leveraging Azure Cloud expertise to assist clients in their data cloud journey. The successful candidate will have at least 6 years of commercial experience with the Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite, proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in building SQL Server Data Warehouses from scratch and working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse is highly beneficial.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite
• Proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
• Experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse
• Experience with WhereScape RED and/or SAP BODS (beneficial)
• Must hold a valid NZ Work Permit with no restrictions

Remuneration and Benefits

The salary for this role goes up to $140,000 and includes additional benefits such as KiwiSaver, a laptop, ongoing training and support, and an annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
