About Us

Transport Rebuild East Coast (TREC) is an alliance dedicated to the recovery and rebuild of the highway and rail networks in Te Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) and Te Matau a Māui (Hawke’s Bay). Our members include prominent organizations such as Waka Kotahi, KiwiRail, Downer, Fulton Hogan, and Higgins.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key player in the alliance, you will be responsible for handling and analyzing data to provide valuable insights, visualization, and recommendations to enhance project outcomes.

What We Require

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field
• Proven experience in data analysis within the construction industry or a related domain
• Proficiency in tools and languages like SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, data quality, and governance principles
• Familiarity with data platform technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
• Experience with big data frameworks like Spark and Hadoop, as well as cloud-based data services
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
