Position: Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) Team Leader/Foreman

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: $34 - $38 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a small crew on various projects throughout Auckland
• Operate the drill to safely install services
• Support the crew and assist with ad hoc laboring tasks
• Ensure effective communication within the team
• Complete necessary paperwork and conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment
• Provide monthly health and safety reports

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Practical experience in HDD operations
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Class 1 full license
• Directional drilling experience
• WTR endorsement (highly desirable)
• Experience with operating a hydrovac truck within civil construction (advantageous)
