Drug Free Sport New Zealand (DFSNZ) is committed to promoting clean, drug-free sports by educating athletes, deterring and detecting doping, and engaging with the wider sporting community. They are New Zealand's national anti-doping organization dedicated to upholding the integrity and health of athletes.

Role Overview

DFSNZ is looking for a new Educator to join their team in Auckland. As an external contractor, you will be responsible for facilitating workshops and webinars for elite-level athletes, conducting values-based sessions in schools, and potentially leading Outreach Programmes at sports events.

Skills and Experience Required

Requirements

  • Current or recently retired athlete
  • Reside in Auckland
  • Experience in public speaking
  • Available to work during the day, evenings, and weekends
  • Passion for clean sport and anti-doping
  • Hold a valid driver's license and own a vehicle
  • Strong self-organizational and communication skills
  • Over 20 years of age

Ideal Attributes

  • Initiative and adaptability in delivery methods
  • Experience working with youth, athletes, and support personnel
  • Previous education experience
