Passionate Gymnastics Coach Wanted

ESGC is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic coach to join their team of talented coaches. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with young gymnasts and helping them achieve their goals. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where coaches can enhance their skills and expertise.

Role Responsibilities

The role primarily involves coaching in the Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) programme, focusing on delivering high-quality coaching in bars, vault, and tumbling. Successful applicants must be proficient in spotting STEP 6 and higher level skills. The number of hours is negotiable, with the possibility of coaching in other programmes such as Parkour, School programme, and Competitive Levels.

Key Requirements

• Current First Aid/CPR certificate (or willing to obtain one before starting)
• New Zealand Gymnastics Elementary Coaching qualification or equivalent. Junior Coaching Qualification or higher is an advantage
• Experience coaching minimum STEP 6 gymnasts or equivalent
• Physical and technical capability to spot minimum STEP 6 skills or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in working with competitive gymnasts
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand

Additional Opportunities
