Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) is currently seeking nurses to join our team at the Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility. About the Role

Nursing at Ara Poutama Aotearoa offers opportunities to develop and practice a wide range of clinical skills. Nurses provide primary health care services, assess and manage various health issues, handle emergencies, and provide health education. Nurses work shifts that include weekends but no night shifts, with an on-call triage system overnight.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have recent clinical experience in primary or secondary health care nursing, post-graduate clinical experience, the ability to handle emergency situations, and a commitment to continuous learning. A non-judgemental approach is essential. Candidates must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, eligible to work in New Zealand, and hold a full NZ driver's license.

Salary and Benefits
