The Role

We are looking for a skilled Factory Engineer or Maintenance Fitter to maintain and optimize our spring making machines and wire forming machines. The role involves ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily repairs and planned maintenance
• Diagnose and repair equipment within the manufacturing plant
• Supervise contractors when necessary
• Improve mechanical processes for enhanced efficiency
• Create and implement a preventative maintenance program

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Qualification/Certificate (Fitter and Turner Qualification preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Proactive approach to plant maintenance
