Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic professional to join our dynamic team focused on preventing and supporting victims of domestic violence. Our client is dedicated to empowering individuals and their families to live without fear and control. As a key member of our team, you will provide crisis support, collaborate with external specialists, and work towards maximizing the safety of those accessing our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Client advocacy and crisis response
• Education and empowerment of individuals affected by domestic violence
• Managing client caseload, conducting risk assessments, and creating safety plans
• Collaborating with the community-based crisis response team

Requirements

• Relevant degree-level qualification (e.g., social work, counselor, family violence qualification)
• Current NZ registration with a professional body covered by HPCA 2003 Act
• Previous experience in domestic violence or mental health
• Full driver's license
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
