Job Details
This position offers full-time or part-time opportunities across various locations in Central Auckland, including Remuera, St Heliers, Northcote, Herne Bay, and Ponsonby. As part of the Te Tumu Waiora program, you will receive specialized training and mentoring to enhance your skills in Primary Care Behavioral Health and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based brief interventions, including Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to patients
- Deliver group programs and consultations within a GP clinic
- Identify and address patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Support population health initiatives through tailored intervention pathways
Requirements
- Registered mental health professional (psychologist, nurse, social worker, etc.)
- Training in ACT, FACT, or CBT
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Culturally sensitive and inclusive
