About the Role: Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant role at Jungheinrich is a pivotal position responsible for various financial accounting activities, administration, and business support. Reporting to the General Manager of Finance & Administration, the role involves preparing and presenting financial data for internal and external reporting.

Core Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial accounts
• Bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
• Analysis and recording of employee expenditures
• Management of income and expenditure accounts
• Generation of financial reports
• Monitoring company finances and obligations
• Payroll management and time off monitoring
• Intercompany transaction reconciliation
• General ledger reconciliation and monthly finance repayments
• Asset and finance schedule management
• Assistance in annual planning and forecasting
• ERP maintenance and enhancement
• Process improvement projects

Core Skills Required

• Strong communication skills

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified
• CPA or CA qualified (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience with accounting software and data entry
• Knowledge of accounting rules, IFRS principles, and spreadsheets
• Proven experience in financial settings
