Positions Available

Full-Time Chef

As a Full-Time Chef at Major Tom Cafe, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity in crafting delectable dishes. From breakfast classics to gourmet lunch specials, you will play a key role in delivering a culinary experience that keeps our customers coming back for more.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred

Front of House

Join our Front of House team and be the welcoming face of Major Tom Cafe. From greeting guests to ensuring a fantastic dining experience, you will play a vital role in creating memorable moments for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Take and process customer orders
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
• Assist with menu selections

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for providing exceptional service

Barista

Are you passionate about coffee? Join us as a Barista and create the perfect cup of coffee for our customers. Showcase your skills in crafting espresso beverages and delight our guests with every sip.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station
• Provide friendly service to customers
• Educate customers about our coffee offerings

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista preferred
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment
• Strong customer service skills
