Role Overview

As a Health Improvement Practitioner, you will work in GP clinics in West Auckland, specifically in Westgate & Ratanui, providing general, mental, and physical health support to individuals and communities. Your role will involve collaborating with multicultural GP teams, health coaches, and community support workers to promote well-being in routine GP care. Training, supervision, and mentoring will be provided to ensure your success in the role.

Requirements

  • Post-graduate qualification enabling therapeutic work with clients
  • Registration with a relevant body under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA)
  • Experience working with clients and their families in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic models and group programs
