Are you an experienced Health & Safety Advisor looking to make a difference in a growing industry while working locally in Franklin? Look no further! About Us

AS Wilcox & Sons is a grower and marketer of root crops, supplying to domestic and export markets. Our main crops include potatoes, onions, carrots, Broccolini, and Watermelon. We are guided by our core values of Respect, Performance, and Growth.

Your Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will work closely with the General Manager of People & Culture to:

• Provide expert advice and support on health, safety, and wellbeing at all levels of the business
• Continuously improve and manage our safety management system
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure hazards are identified and addressed
• Support managers with incident investigations and coaching
• Enhance H&S reporting to provide valuable insights
• Lead H&S training sessions and participate in committees
• Ensure compliance with H&S regulations

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in a H&S role
• A relevant qualification in health and safety
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• A continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to provide effective H&S training and development
