Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Assist with payroll processing and compliance with relevant regulations
• Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission
• Conduct financial analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their financial queries and provide information as needed
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CA) or working towards them is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn and develop in the accounting profession
