Company Overview

Active Engineering and Acti-Bush, based in Rosedale, Northshore, are joint, family-owned engineering (& parts) companies. They are currently seeking a fit and enthusiastic Junior Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Role Description

The role involves a variety of tasks in both office and workshop environments, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a basic understanding of these settings. The ideal candidate should have a 'can-do' attitude, good attention to detail, and preferably some basic mechanical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Office administration and data entry
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
• Counting and sorting production stock
• Driving light flat deck truck for pickup and delivery around Auckland
• Light cleaning duties in the kitchen
• Answering sales calls and managing emails

Requirements

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Ability to lift items up to 25kg
• Full driver's licence
