Responsibilities and Requirements
As the Logistics Manager, you will have the opportunity to: - Manage the relationship with a 3PL partner and ensure KPIs are met - Handle stock forecasting, adjustments, transfers, rotations, and expiry dates - Oversee freight and shipping operations both locally and internationally - Supervise a customer services team and a store person
Ideal candidates will have: - 5-7 years of senior-level experience in forecasting, planning, purchasing, freight, shipping, and inventory control - Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - People management skills - Expertise in export and shipping processes - High attention to detail and analytical skills - Proficiency in planning and organizational tasks - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to learn ERP systems quickly - Tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Purchasing are preferable
