Job Opportunity: Marae Operations Manager

The Marae Operations Manager will work collaboratively with whānau, kaimahi, and community partners to ensure the manaakitanga is felt by all Marae visitors. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in working weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Planning for short and long term Marae goals
• Managing daily operations including logistics, bookings, facilities, Health and Safety
• Providing leadership to an operational support team
• Implementing systems to enhance operational efficiencies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Tertiary qualification and relevant life experience
• Minimum of 7 years operational management experience
• Experience in leading high-performance teams
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
• Competency in computers, project management, and administration
• Fluency in Te Reo me Ngā Tikanga Māori and Te Reo Maori
