Lead and Manage Establishments Group of Veterinary Verifiers

Are you a seasoned people leader with a passion for operational management and financial acumen? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to lead our Establishments group of veterinarian verifiers. As the National Manager Establishments at New Zealand Food Safety, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of efficient and quality verification services for red meat processing and production facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Establishments group to achieve strategic goals and outcomes
• Develop and execute business plans to enhance service delivery
• Ensure effective resource planning and capability development
• Support financial management and control within the establishment business

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a senior people leader
• Demonstrated financial capability and operational management skills
• Knowledge of the red meat sector in New Zealand (preferred)
• Experience in delivering regulatory or technical services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

About the Team

You will be joining a dedicated team of National Managers focusing on meat processing and production facilities. The Establishments group comprises highly technical professionals distributed nationwide, working towards ensuring compliance and quality in the industry.

Salary: $158,916 to $212,730
