About the Role

The ASM Alliance is a collaboration between Fulton Hogan, HEB Construction, and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) with the aim of operating and maintaining Auckland's State highway network. As the Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to manage and train a team that evaluates applications from external parties looking to undertake work within the State highway corridor. Your role is crucial in ensuring that these activities do not compromise the integrity of the road assets, maintenance operations, and road user safety.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or NZ Diploma in engineering, transportation, or construction
  • Experience in road maintenance or infrastructure processes
  • Strong coordination skills
  • Proficient in English communication and documentation
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality delivery

Responsibilities

  • Assess the impact of third-party works on State highway operations
  • Coordinate with technical experts to mitigate any negative effects
  • Manage applications and ensure compliance with access permits
  • Monitor activities to maintain traffic flow
  • Build relationships with stakeholders for customer-focused outcomes
  • Provide monthly performance reports and maintain permit register
